Mass Formation and The Totalitarian State

Mass Formation and The Totalitarian State

This last year has for me, been formative. I had time and inclination to take a good look around and see what New Zealand and the rest of the world was doing about the horrific position our governments were leading us into. I discovered that there were many groups, up and down the country that were formed or forming around philosophies, alternatives or solutions to the problem of unlawful, dishonest government.

In general the groups fitted into three categories:
Category One:
Open and friendly organisations out there in the public space, educating, talking, sometimes boldly, about the issues and the root cause. Anyone could see who the leaders were and what their platform was and how many people had gathered around them. Some of them were large, some small, but all open to followers.
Category Two:
Groups that were just quietly moving along, working on community and educating their people. Not so public, but definitely under a banner of some kind, you could talk to them and you could see who their leadership was and if you wished to you could join up quite easily.
Catagory Three:
Smaller groups, which may or may not be associated in some way with one of the two categories above. They are introspective and secretive. You do not know the leadership and little about their philosophy. You could not ‘join’ without going through a process of vetting and in many cases were required to sign up to a charter or make an oath or affirmation of allegiance. In this category I found people with lots of practical knowledge but a strange unwillingness to share it.

It was this third category that concerned me, troubled my spirit, the most. But I did not know the reason for that concern. Until I listened to Dr Mattias Desmet. He is a Statistician and Professor of Clinical Psychology at Ghent University in Belgium. The author of “The Psychology of Totalitarianism”.

The rise of totalitarianism, is due to what he calls “Mass Formation Psychosis” which is a form of mass hypnosis. The rise of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union he puts down to this phenomena. But not only that, the failure to prevent the full implementation of the totalitarian state was down to the society being subjugated not knowing what totalitarianism looked like. They thought it was just a couple of dictators seeking power. Just ignore them and they will go away. The voice of the people went underground waiting for this to all blow over, and ended up being totally impotent against the steamroller of the Mass Formation.
That steamroller was all the people who had brought into the totalitarian lies and had become themselves dictators against the community they were part of. They were hypnotised.

But why did they do this? There are four elements that must be present for this Mass Formation Psychosis to happen. This is really a hysteria due to the hypnosis which comes from the narrative of the perpetrators, boosted by the unending repetition in the media, until it becomes that indisputable fact of reality called “Everybody knows”.

Those four elements are:
1. People feel socially isolated.
Social interaction is a face to face thing and cannot be replaced by text messages and video calls. Lockdowns and masks are a perfect way to create that feeling of isolation.
2. Lack of meaning to life.
No satisfaction in the things you do that normally give your life meaning. Can’t work, can’t play sport, can’t coffee and chat, so what’s the point of it all?
3. Free floating anxiety.
A feeling of anxiousness, for no apparent reason. That’s why it’s free floating, you can’t pin it on a specific cause. This leads to physical symptoms of tiredness and just feeling unwell, which leads to despair and negativity. A downward vibrational spiral of increasing negative energy.
4. Free floating frustration and aggression.
No cause for the anxiety and likewise no object of blame to obtain a release of the frustration and aggression.

By mass hypnosis and repetitive narrative the perpetrators of the totalitarian state generate the anxiety then create an object of that anxiety. For example the fear of death or harm from a contagious virus. So, people, who are psychologically in any or all of the states above flock to that object, the virus etc. and in doing so create a psychological bond with all the other people flocking to that same object. Fighting the object becomes the hypnotic focus on a very narrow view of reality, so much so that the collateral damage from the so called solution, e.g. lockdowns, passes unnoticed. The perpetrators need to maintain the fear so new variations on the fear theme are continually introduced. In this state personal and societal rights and freedoms can disappear, never to be returned until the totalitarian state collapses, as it inevitably will, but that could be ten, twenty, a hundred years into the future. Meanwhile, those under totalitarian control are in a living hell hoping for death to relieve their suffering.

The second thing that happens to people that have been caught up in the Mass Formation is that they find an object for their frustration and aggression. In Nazi Germany it was the Jews, in the Soviet Union it was the bourgeoisie. In both cases though, it did not stop there, it quickly became the disposal of anyone they wanted to do away with. The numbers murdered totalled tens of millions. The object of frustration and aggression could be anyone who does not follow the official narrative. In the situation we face in New Zealand today that could be someone who is not jabbed, or doesn’t wear a mask.

Now, just think for a minute, the stated objective of the nwo is to get the world population down to under one billion (half a billion according to the Georgia Guide Stones). How will that happen? By the premediated murder of about seven billion people.
This is serious folks! And we must oppose it, but how?

Dr Mattias states that the opposition that arises cannot be attributed to one sector of society. He says that his studies show that the opposition is very heterogeneous, people from all ages, all cultures, all occupations, all education levels, all faiths, all backgrounds and across all socioeconomic levels. The one thing they seem to have in common is a sensitivity for truth. Now that! is our God given danger avoidance system. It is called our conscience and prods us when things just ain’t right. The danger there, is that your conscience can be seared. Brush that prodding away often enough and the voice of reason gets fainter and fainter until you can’t hear it any more. Then you can get up in the morning, have a hearty breakfast and go out and shoot a few dozen Russian intellectuals, or perform a few dozen abortions. People become so immersed in the lie anything can be justified against the object they have all rallied against.

As was stated earlier, the rise of Nazism and Communism happened because the voice of reason went underground. We can’t let that happen here. Dr Mattias says that speaking out in the public space, but doing so in a sincere, honest and rational way, is the most fundamental and important thing we can do. He also says that in the face of a rising totalitarian state, isolation and silence is the worst thing you can do.

Back to those three categories I outlined before. I now know why category three, and the few people I had met that were part of that category, were uncomfortable for me. They are in grave danger of becoming isolated by their own secrecy, without the connection to the groups operating at category one level and therefore are like a bunch of grapes hanging over the fence from the rest of the vine, ripe for the plucking by any passer-by, or government agency. Dr Mattias says that these isolated or separatist groups are likely to become their own Mass Formation for the same reasons, but they themselves are generating the fear needed for formation to happen.

Conversely, category one and two people are not alone, we can draw on the wider community and the other groups nationally. We are positive and supportive of our community around us, but also protective. Our grapevine is ring fenced with the word of truth and we are recognised by everyone else whose spirit resonates to the way the truth and the life.

Finally, one can draw some conclusions or guidance’s for people looking to join a community.
First; make sure the group you are with are open and accountable. If you have to wait until you are on the inside until you find out precisely who is leading the group and what their philosophy is, Run Away!
Second; If a group requires you to sign a charter, take an oath or make an affirmation, Run Away!
Third; If the group requires any particular behaviours, e.g. must wear one of their T shirts, or must attend street protests and carry a sign, or, don’t tell anyone about us or our meetings. Run Away!

Remember, You are a sovereign individual and you decide what you do or don’t do. But whatever you do in this situation we are all burdened with, always deal honourably and honestly with your fellow community members, and always treat others, from both sides of the fence, with respect.
